Roger “judges” a Guinness World Record for Charity

This morning The Action Center asked Roger to be a “judge” to validate that they set the Guinness World Record for most backpacks dropped off for a back to school drive in one hour. Breaking news . . . They just did!!! 🎉🎈🥳. 🎒🎒

Dozens of volunteers and community members from around Lakewood turned out for the event, all working to make sure that every single student in Jeffco has a backpack—regardless of their family’s financial situation. It’s incredible to see neighbors coming together for neighbors, just in time for the start of school coming up in August.

This is an incredible cause, and, as Roger said: “Good lord, that’s a lot of backpacks!”
